The City of Vancouver has drawn fire from safety experts after letting go of its chief electrician just weeks before the opening ceremony of the 2010 Olympic Games. Ark Tsisserev was the chief electrical inspector and electrical safety manager for the city until his dismissal last month. The city says his position was eliminated in a recent round of budget cuts, but Tsisserev’s former colleagues say the decision just doesn’t make sense. “Why would they let him go before the Olympics?” said Bill Burr, former chief electrical inspector of BC “The chief electrical safety officer has all kinds of things to do in a busy time like this. There’s all kinds of temporary installations going up, tents and all those activities that have electrical power in them.” Dave Jackson worked with Tsissereve until his retirement in 2007, and said he is one of the best of his profession. “I was totally surprised to hear Ark had been dismissed,” Jackson said. “He’s probably recognized as the number one expert in Canada on electrical codes.” Industry leaders have written to Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson demanding Tsisserev be reinstated — but the mayor says his plate is already full. “I’m not dealing with staffing issues,” Robertson said. “I’ve been full-up with Olympic preparations.” Robertson added he is sure there are no safety issues with Olympic sites or venues. The city says a senior building official will handle Tsisserev’s responsibilities, and that electrical inspections will …

False flag!
Hahahaa that’s why the Olympics opening ceremony messed up!
BC has always been a bunch of pussies when it comes to electrical safety… they don’t really understand electricity. They come up with bullshit ideas concerning how the wires are run, and how electricity actually travels. Sorry, but all of you conspiracy theorists are just blowing smoke…
I don’t know about safety but everyone noticed tonight at the opening ceremony that only 3 of the 4 pillars that hold up the cauldron for the olympic flame emerged from the floor. Before the pillars and cauldron appeared, there was a long delay and the CTV crew were explaining that there was a major malfunction with the hydraulic mechanism… Cross your fingers and hope there aren’t any other electrical mishaps during the games.
now the regular crew is taking investment in cat bonds (catastrophe bonds) on the olympics, gee…I wonder, they stand to make billions if something happened.
Wonder what happens tomorrow Feb 11th while everyone else is watching Olympics in fake snow! :)
So the head Electrician above was sacked! What are they up to now in Canada in their fake snow?! :)
SAFETY?
Is It REAL?
Check this out!
Last year I had to leave my cell phone at Entrance to Dayton’s Federal Building but this year I was Allowed to Take my cell phone In?!
That seems quite backwards to me!
Naturalization video to Prove it!
STOP the WAR! Stop the Hate! PEACE and LOVE mate.
Im surprised by the number of people that appear to be aware of a possible false flag attack on the olympics. People are finally waking up.
Exactly. Budget cuts when this will likely be the most profitable period of time Vancouver has ever experienced.?
There are to many coincidences with 7/7 and 9/11 with nothing even having happened yet. This all makes me very wary.
Thats my thoughts “verbatim”
Yeah, CTV is the first station to cover the leaked missing ammonium nitrate story, and now this… Then less than a day later their building goes up in flames. It seems all too suspicious. Hearts and minds out to the good people of CTV.
You sure are right about that one! Everything is coming to a head now.
Well I’ve been trying to stay hopeful about no terrorist attack after hearing some anecdotal evidence for it, but they’re starting to stack up and gets harder to ignore.
Not only that, CTV’s studio in Ottawa was badly damaged by fire yesterday morning, destroying ALL the CTV archives.
Even MORE fishy…..
VERY VERY Fishy.
Canadians, stay safe and keep an eye out in the coming weeks!
Mr. Tsisereu is respected expert, why would he be fired? Smells like olympic size coverup to me.
Sounds like a case of constructive dismissal to me. Hopefully he’ll be in line a fat pay out in court
@ravenise YES, I’m in Ottawa and can confirm this. They’re putting on a ‘brave face’ about this, but I’m sure a hit like this means something.
5 stars. If the insecurity services wired something dodgy, opps I mean “terrorists” he’d most likey be great at spotting it. They’d probably need a couple of weeks before the event to get things all wired up. Smells a bit like the shutdown of the twin towers for rewiring at the weekends weeks before the al ciada attacked. Cheers
He found out about the false flag plans. We will probably see him laid out before long attributed to a mysterious heart attack or suicide. They won’t check his body for mysterious injection sites.
Hmmmm….job responsibilities prolly given to some buddy who will play ball. I’ll say this for Canadian media, they still do some investigative reporting. U.S. media simply regurgitates wire feeds for the most part now.
Shocking.
